That's what we're all about

I saw Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde tonight. What a great show. The acting was perfect, the direction was tight and well coordinated, and the technical elements worked well. It's a long show (around two and a half hours), but Dawn Wittke-King's direction moved things along a good clip. This show is a perfect example of why Dreamwell exists. I am too tired to write well right now, but seeing this show makes me proud to be one of the ones who created this theater over ten years ago.

Brewbaker's wig was somewhat distracting, but only because I know him personally.

An excellent night at the theater.

You didn't think the music at the end was more than a touch over dramatic?

I didn't really - I was really into the show and it didn't take me out of the moment at all. The only critique I had was the length of the show and I blame the script for that. Kaufman could have made it shorter and still be effective.
